Anti-Rust

Im looking at a 2005 runner, but the vehicle has never been treated with anti-rust....what do you guys think??

the car is from montreal, canada where there is tons of snow.....i saw some rust when I peeked under the car, anyways just need some advice

I can't speak for that far north, but I live in Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh. We're notorious for rust down here. Short of being able to put my finger through the frame...I'd be ok with an 05. I have a 96 that was rustproofed 13 years ago. It still shows rust regardless of the rustproofing that was done. If you're seriously worried about it...have it inspected at a garage you've used in the past. It's money well spent.
