Any 4Runner owners in or around Phoenix want to form a club

Hi all. I'm an older guy (60's) and I have a 2007 4Runner. I am building it for overlanding. It would be awesome to touch base with people in Phoenix and surrounding areas (I live in east Mesa). I'm looking for people, any age, that would like to get together for some local and long distance trips. Overlanding is more fun in a group! A group of 4Runners would be nice, but I wouldn't exclude any type of vehicles, or any stage of build. This is just a feeler, of sorts, to see if there any interested people out there looking for some trail companionship, friendship, trip planning, building, etc. We live in a great area with some awesome destinations within a day or two drive. Please message me, or post openly if you would be interested.

I may be interested. I mostly just like to find remote areas and camp/hike with my dogs. I am not interested in doing anything extreme in the offroading world, my Gen3 4runner is a stock 4X4 with e-locker that is set up for camping. I'm located in North Phoenix

That's cool. I'm not looking to go rock crawling (had a Jeep that I used for that). I'm trying to find some local people that might be interested in trips to places like Death Valley, Grand Canyon, Canyonlands, Mohave Road, etc. I'm working on my roof rack for a rooftop tent now and should be ready by later in November. Check out Arizona 4Runners on Facebook. It's a very active 4Runner club, with lots of members. There is always something going on with the group.
