Any ideas on this sound?

I recently installed the Icon stage 2 lift and ever since I've had this sounds coming from the rear. I'm biased to the drivers side since thats where I sit but im fairly certain its coming from both sides. When driving over cobblestone or rocky/rough terrain (potholes included) theres this fairly constant squeak-even on the light terrain- and then on the bigger bumps there is a metal-on-metal sound. It's like a clack that sounds of similar resonance of something banging on the rear axle. I got under the back to check the bushings and they seem alright, no real play. There are two exceptions: 1, the passenger spring, when hit with a hammer, has much more twang than the other and seems like it could be rotated clockwise another 1/2" to seat right against that metal notch and 2, what I assume is the rear sway bar is tight but when I hit it with my fist really hard there is a faint metal on metal tapping sound. It's driving me nuts. Any ideas are appreciated as to keep me from throwing parts at the problem.

It's funny that you mention this. I am having the same issue. Mine appears to be coming from the passenger side front. I have the Icon Stage 2 installed as well. I had the install done by a reputable company and I am a little surprised it's making such and annoying and predictable sound. It's almost as though when you are turning at low speeds and then straighten out, there is a loud clunking/ metal on metal sound. I know its not the transmission clunk because I have dealt with that for years and know what it sounds like. My sound happens at low speeds/decelerating. It's almost as though there are two pieces of metal laying on top of each other and then flex past (If that makes sense).

On visual inspection it looks as though the coil-over is seated correctly and is not visibly rubbing on the shock itself.

I have had my mechanic look a the issue too but he doesn't have a clue what it could be. Just the fact it is an after marker suspension was his guess. The CV boots do seem to be slinging some grease due to the new angle but not enough to make it an issue right now.

Also, I called Icon and they didn't have an answer (which was pretty piss poor). Their best guess was the fact that it was low on nitrogen in the shock. They wanted me to pull the shock and send it back to them to inspect. How the hell am I supposed to do that with my daily driver?

Hopefully someone can shed some light into this issue and it isn't too prevalent of a problem.

I'm hoping so. I've noticed the bushings on my lower control arms are leaking grease and I plan to replace those, but that gets me no closer to the rear. I'm thinking about replacing all the bushings in the rear to poly and getting some new links and trailing arms but the possibility of a squeak-fest is holding me back.
