I'm a trail rider.

I have always liked trail riding. I did a lot of riding the last few years while I was living out in Utah. I started with a dual sport bike, and then bought an enduro. I'm back on the East Coast and have to drive to Virginia to ride trails, but I'm going to start riding MX tracks this year.

Nice! I just picked up a CRF250L over the weekend, figured it'd be a good sized bike for the hitch carrier to bring on some trips.

Also have a few others:
2001 BMW R1150GS
2002 Honda FSC600 Silverwing
1996 Kawi KDX200 (street titled)
1982? Suzuki GN400 (which has never ran correctly since I've had it...)

My dad and I got our licenses last year and we both went in on an '06 SV650. Awesome bike and I love the shit out of it.

Hoping to add something to my own garage this weekend if all things go well. Might be picking up a Grom for dicking around my city

Still hanging onto my '06 SV650. Debating whether or not a hitch carrier on my 4Runner will support its weight. Anybody have experience with the motorcycle hitch carriers?

I built mine but only for dirt bikes....any dirt bike rides perfectly fine. Hauled them 1500 miles one way no issues. Much lighter bike than a 650 street bike. You could build a carrier strong enough, but don't see that the runner could pack it safely....needs a lot more suspension. My 245lb bike is pretty heavy back there for sure.

Nice bikes! Thought they might have been nortons at a quick glance but I see they are hondas. Love the old cafe racer style bikes!

Just got my fifth street bike Monday.

Brand new 2016 CBR600 for $3k off MSRP. I never saw myself getting another bike but I missed it too much.

..happens every time there isn’t one in the garage... “but I swear hon, I didn’t plan on buying another!”

It’s probably why my wife won’t let me get rid of the Duc, she’s knows within a year or so, something new will magically show up in the garage and she’ll hear the same old phrase again.

....gotta luv being addicted to motorcycles... even when I don’t have any time to ride anymore. :frusty:

My last bike was a ZX6R and I swore up and down, after a close call, that I was done riding.

Internet was down...surfing some old pics. We did a Death Valley trip a few years ago....drove 13hrs one way...road our asses off for 2.5 days....16hrs home! The guy on the left is no longer with us, but I know he is still laughing at this pic. He just did a YARD SALE on a rented Beamer!!! This ride made up his mind for a KTM 950 instead of a BMW. EL...you died way too young...but doing what you loved...riding a bike!! I was riding a 450...first pic was all she had on the dirt...second was pavement...third was about 8hrs sleep the last 96hrs...yeah I pussed out...but was kinda tired.

Street riding here is boring until you get out 2 hours in any direction.
Hoping to do more NE riding in the States.

Throw some crash bars on that puppy and don't be afraid to lay her down on a flat, rain-soaked parking lot.

Sold off the modded DR650 last year, told myself no more bikes : /. I seen these a couple of months ago and originally looked at the enduro, but after sitting on one, way too tall ! Took delivery on Thursday, 2017 Husqvarna 701 SM, a few mods to come.
