I sent him a email when we hit 20 interested people (design pending).
I just happened to shoot him another email this AM in case there was a glitch and he didn't receive my last correspondence.
I am waiting to hear back from him.
As soon as I receive something I will post.
I am anxious to see a design like everyone else!

Let's be patient and not rush the artist!

Rough T4R Badge

Ok peeps, here is the description and jpg of the T4R Rough badge.
I know some didn't want a year on the badge, but the badge is not gen specific, it only designates the year the badge was designed.

Here is the description of the badge:
"I went with one that is similar to one of my first designs. It's a riff on the original Toyota logo, as I'm sure you know. It will have TOYOTA-4RUNNER.ORG and 2015 around the outside ring and a star on either side of the 2015 to fill out the space. I'd recommend the color of the ring being black and the interior of the circle aournd the TR4 icon being red and the text and the TR4 being polished chrome.

So, feel free to share this rough, if folk like the concept I'll do a real image of it."

I shot an email right back to him about the possibility of removing the year and replacing it with something else...

Here is his reply."No worries, I can surely remove the 2015. I'd suggest replacing it either with "keep it wild" or five star icons, one for each gen. Let me know what your folk want."

So, If you like the original draft design badge, please make a post and indicate "Original" in bold.

If you like the "keep it wild" draft design in the badge, please make a post and indicate "keep it wild" in bold.

If you like the "five star icons" draft design in the badge, please make a post and indicate "five star icons" in bold.

I hope too many options doesn't make this difficult.

I definitely feel like the 5 star option looks best since it pays tribute to all 5 gens that are currently out at the moment. Being a fan of red I definitely agree with the color scheme!

Need to see a better rendition of the center logo, I like the FJ badge but with 5 gens we need a generic logo. I assume its something like the logo below, maybe more of a TRD font and a clear TR4

Center logo is T4R is a riff on the original Toyota logo lettering.
So, are you stating you don't like what the rough draft looks like ?
You only like the into the wild and the 5 stars of the design?

Sorry, I like the original fine with the "wild" and 5 star designs. The TRD font comment was just a suggestion. I found the original log and threw it up there
