Anybody running 265s with SSO high clearance?

Well, I just installed my slim line bumper. I have as well the high clearance too. I’m running 265/70/17 KO2s. I’m afraid if I install it now with stock size tires my 4Runner will look rather silly and strange. Is anybody else running the high clearance with stock size tires? I’m thinking that nobody is considering it’s for oversized tires. But, I figured I would ask.

that high clearance option SSO came out with looks so damn good too, do it.

Please, to anybody that reads this thread feel free express your personal opinions. Larger tires will come in the future. Probably a ways down the road, but, Nevertheless.

I personally have always felt that the aggressive tread pattern on a tire has a more significant impact on appearance than a small increase in tire size. I think your 265 KO2 tires look much bigger than would a 285 all-season tire. Your current setup looks great.

Yeah, that looks pretty silly. I think it's best if you arrange to have your SSO bumper shipped to me because I don't mind things looking a bit silly on my wagon with 265/70s on it...

Seriously, you have a kick-ass vehicle with kick-ass tires and an absolutely kick-ass hybrid bumper in the SSO unit, do you really think a bit more rubber and a cm or two more of "look" is going to satisfy you?

Full disclosure: This SSO unit is the bumper I want on my wagon, down-right skookum.

really cant get over how much i like what SSO did with that. it flows with the lines of the fog-light-gills and gets rid of that bulbous fat lip look the newer 5th gens have.
looks like you did a great job with the cutting too, lined up nicely

Edit: I see you're missing a dust cap on your front driver side. points deducted. get your sh*t together you disgust me. sarcasm again but w/out green... i have been missing a rear-door wheel flare piece for months and just have those ugly ass blue/orange pins sticking out....
