Anybody running 265s with SSO high clearance?

I would like one, but where I live there are no trees. I don’t really go mudding. Maybe after I buy larger tires.

Well, I just installed my slim line bumper. I have as well the high clearance too. I’m running 265/70/17 KO2s. I’m afraid if I install it now with stock size tires my 4Runner will look rather silly and strange. Is anybody else running the high clearance with stock size tires? I’m thinking that nobody is considering it’s for oversized tires. But, I figured I would ask.

We think the Southern Style bumper and High Clearance looks great on any vehicle with any size tires.

[MENTION=115440]westtex[/MENTION] , this is exactly what I'm planning as well. I won't know if I have the height clearance for any larger tires until I've worked out bumpers and suspension stuff, so 265s it will be for a while, maybe for good.

My single purpose in life is to basically recreate the wanderlostoverland rig. They keep doing everything I want to do before I can get to it. :cheers:

I personally have always felt that the aggressive tread pattern on a tire has a more significant impact on appearance than a small increase in tire size. I think your 265 KO2 tires look much bigger than would a 285 all-season tire. Your current setup looks great.
