Anyone buy the extended warrenty in CA from out of state dealer?

Guys, I want to pick up the 7yr/75K from Shawn at Toyota, but I live in CA. I wanted to see if anyone has bought the ext. from a dealer outside of CA and used it with no problems in CA. He said it isn't a prob, but I saw another thread with some other info. Thx.

It works like this-
In California an extended warranty is regulated like insurance. Therefore, other parties outside the state are not supposed to do business in California unless they are licensed to do business in the state. However, when it comes to extended warrantys, this law is unenforceable. If you purchase a genuine
Toyota warranty from a dealer anywhere (in the U.S.) it will be honored at any dealership.

I bought one for my Ford Explorer (Ford Extracare) once, from a dealer back east. It was honored at the local Ford Dealer in Southern California.

I recently traded in my 4Runner for a new Honda Accord Coupe. The California dealer wanted $1400 for 7 years 80k miles 0 deductable. I purchased the warranty from an east coast dealer over the internet for $680. I received the official Honda warranty in the mail good everywhre in the USA.

Does anyone have contact details for Shaun or anyone else who sells extended warranties cheaper than CA dealers? I need to get one in the next couple months before I hit 36K. Thanks.
