Anyone else notices how the sliding cargo rack..

Just got the 15 Trail Premium this past weekend and so far its been a dream come true. Test drove the non KDSS and KDSS and the difference is quite clear and very noticeable.

Also decided to pick up the one with Sliding cargo rack and moonroof because it is completely FLAT on the sliding cargo rack vs the one without. The one without the sliding cargo rack has a slight rise where the seats fold. I figured with the moonroof tilted up, and a sleeping bag it will make a nice sleeping quarter

A few complaints, how come many of the buttons and switches (including the cruise controls) are not lit up ? :cry2:

You know, that is actually one of my only complaints so far. It seems like the ones you'd want to have lit up aren't either.

Sunroof controls are also at an awkward angle, and not lit up as well.

I'd bet [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION] can figure out a way to make that happen! Lol!

The dash indicators are lit up. Kind of hard to light up a control stalk.

as far as the cruise control, its been in the same spot for about 10 yrs, prior to that, it was on a stalk same side since the 80/90's.

its a tertiary function, so why does it need a lighted button? you have a lighted dash indicator that its on/off that's easier to see than a stalk you have to look down at your lap instead of glancing at the dash.

My sunroof controls are indeed lit up at night...

This pic is looking back from the windshield- only ambient light onto the switches from the driver's seat. I did this mod over 4 years ago!

Because it's different on every vehicle you drive.

Sure eventually I'll memorize how it functions, but as of now everytime I go to use it it's a bit confusing.

Same for when my girlfriend drives my car.

Part of me wishes I got the cargo rack, but frankly I never slept back there so I'm not really missing it that much. As for the carouse control, etc. I think it was a design decision based on practicality. The cruise control is probably the most intuitive of any that I've ever used. And it's not like the buttons switch positions on you!
