Just play with contrast/brightness until everything cleans up.. then fill in the red where needed.

Just a thought.

Or maybe I'll print a bunch of them on cardstock and sell them on eBay.:cool:

I have to defend my name. This is not me. Someone has these on eBay for $25 PLUS $3 shipping. There are three people watching. "Many hours were spent replicating these charts." I thought we were all friends and shouldn't take advantage of each other. EDIT: Shipping is $8 not $3. Really?

That's awesome , thanks for doing that , Mine are yellow from years of cigarette smoke , Tried to take one of the cards out of the pocket on the visor and it just wanted to crumble .

....they can actually get that way regardless. The one in mine has yellowed and become very brittle too. This used to be my Dad's truck since new. No one ever smoked in that vehicle.
 
So I had purchased them from the guy above with the visors. Pretty yellowed, but overall good shape. Took them to a buddy's dad/photoshopper and he was able to restore the grease maintenance one pretty good. Then to kinkos for copying/laminating. Totally happy. Originals will stay in a safe place.

I know other people sell them, but be aware the 2nd gen has 2 inserts, and the maintenance one seems smaller at 5 3/8" X 3 1/4". The eBay ones I saw looks longer like its the length of both combined? Maybe for 1st gens or pickups? Not 100%.

Anyway if anyone wants a set or the file emailed or whatever let me know. I'm keeping originals for storage sorry. Duplicates only. I'm a pack rat.

Yea the first gen 4runners had just one insert across the whole visor

Thanks for posting, you should upload a scan so people can print them off without emailing you :)
 
Did anyone find a good copy of a first gen? Mine is in decent shape. I will see if I can scan a good copy

Hey I found out something else interesting. (For the 2-piece 2nd gens at least) Turns out manual and automatics had different cards as well. The one I posted earlier talks about "A/T temp light" and such, and today at the junkyard I found this little beauty:

Mentions hubs instead. Also, top left corner has a "1" vs the "8" for automatics. I snapped a photo before it literally disintegrated in my hand. I'm working on reproducing this one as well. So far so good. When I remember I'll upload files. And if forget and you need one message me. Sometimes I'm lazy
