Anyone ever use leatherseats.com on their 3rd gen

These seat covers are amazing. They are, from what I can tell, a perfect match and Ill likely do the passenger seat at some point. Pricey but worth it. Installation was much easier than I expected having never done any seat re-upholstery like this before.

Anyway, wheres what really matters.

You have to bring them your seats and pick your leather.

For those that want to hold out a bit, I'll going with the vinyl that looks almost identical to the factory leather and color. You can't really tell a difference by looks.

Back from the dead, but to answer the OPs question, I just had my leather kit from leatherseats.com installed. They look and feel great. From initial order to tone revived took like 3 weeks. Very satisfied with the product. Company also sent out extra material so I could have the door panels done as well.

Nice seats. You better do something about that electrical tape on your steering wheel though, haha. I did the same thing for a while then found the lemonbest stitch-on steering wheel cover (Amazon - $8). It's totally worth the 1.5 hrs of stitching. Now, :focus:

Here are a couple of pics of the seat bottom that I bought from the Upholsteryguys on Ebay. You will see a bluish hue on the seat, but that is from my FRC work pants. This pic was taken about a year after I had them installed.

I also bought front seat kit from the Upholsteryguys on Ebay and for a while it looked great but within 6 months of light use the front lower seat cushion had the exact same issue yours did. The brown die wore off and the blue started showing through.

I had a local upholstry shop look at it and the guy told me it was leather that had been repainted / re-dyed tan but was originally blue.

We both got screwed a bit on this one. Mine is still really nice but damnnn its a disappointment given the $$ spent.

Post a pic of what you're talking about. I had the same thing happen to my seat within a couple of months of driving, but I knew it was from my blue jeans. It's pretty common for the blue dye to transfer to the seats. My friends "17 Cadillac Escalade did the same thing. He was pissed and didn't know what it was before I told him. That looks exactly like my seats did after a few months. It wouldn't rub off, no matter what cleaner I used. It just took some ass time and now it's completely gone. Scroll back up to the first or second page and look at what my seat looked like with the blue showing. I had a couple of pairs of newer FR blue jeans then, so it looked worse than yours. It's just blue jean dye paired with your butt and some warm, seat time! Here's what mine looks like today.
