Anyone find softer ride solutions for a 2wd?

I was wondering if anyone has figured out a way to make a 2wd 3rd gen ride "softer." Mine is a pretty rough ride for a 2wd. Everything is still OEM on it. Just curious if anyone has any suggestions.

YOu can re-do the suspension..
but in general, the 4runner is a harder truck like ride. You want a soft ride you need to roll over to NON solid rear axle SUV's like the Rav4 or something similar.

You have a body on frame, solid axle SUV that, even in the 2wd variant, is going to ride more "truck" like. You can alter this, to a degree, by changing the suspension set up.

Are you more concerned with the front end or rear?

LC LX450 or LC coils in the back but maybe too much lift for your needs!!

Read the rear sag sticky at the stop of this page. You probably hitting bumpstops and it is not smooth at all.

Hey man. I have a set of Tundra 2wd coils with the OEM Tokico shocks. I put them on my 4x4 and it rode too soft for me, like a cadillac. And it dropped my truck back down to stock height. I can almost promise you that they would give your 2wd a really nice ride, with mabe .5 to 1" lift over stock. Let me know if youre interested in them
