I'm curious about the boom measurements and if the 45" extension is measured from the ram or not.

This is from one of the reviews posted on the HF site:

Reach is inaccurate and misleading. Reach is measured from end of crane (not chain point) to opposite end of boom (not pivot). What made it really bad is they did not take into account the ram being mounted ~10.5-in from the main pivot. So the reach is really 10.5-in less than listed.

From another one:

This says 45 inches. Thats incorrect. from the tilt of the lifting hydraulics to the chain hoist its 35 inches.

My brother has the 2ton, which I can have him measure. But 1 ton, nope. I would agree with Kid's second post that 35 inches is correct.

How is the cancer treatment coming?
