Where to get this bumperguard or bullbar or whatever you call it?

Where to get this bumperguard or bullbar or whatever you call it?

That's the OEM "Sport Bumper Trim" for the early 4th Gen's. I have it and like the looks but it isn't functional. It's a plastic add on that offers no protection and isn't strong enough to mount lights on (the original reason I got it when I ordered the truck, but sight unseen.) Once it's on you can't take it off without seeing some mounting holes drilled through the bumper.

ToyotaPartsPeople.com has it for the '04 T4R for just over $450. They have pretty good & fast service, I've ordered a few things from them.

alot of money for plastic & no function, thats why i decided against it. ha, ha, so i went with am almost as costly jaos lightbar. found one for 300 shipped, it does function for lights (up to 4) sturdy, mounts close to bumper, & looks pretty good with low profile lights since its about the same width.

Thanks for the info....I really like the way it looks...but wow...over 450.00 mmmm...like i don't think so...I rather get an aftermarket bull bar that at least will give some protection for half that amount of money.

Sucks that it's all plastic. If the bar was steel or AL, i'd want it.
