Not me. If I get to the point I need a solid axle, I'll buy a rig with a factory straight axle. '85 Runner, FJ40, maybe a Bronco or Scout. I would dig the hell out of an FJ45, or International Harvester.

I think that $300 may be a bit steep. In my neck of the woods that is worth about $200, maybe $150.

^ Its a high average for around here too, especially for a 80-83 axle..

i sold an axle out of a 81 parts truck to a guy for $350 and a shotgun, i had to take it across Oregon but i was headed that way anyways to see family. i didnt know he was going to put it under a Suzuki though......:violin: poor thing....
