Anyone made a SR5 Premium 4Runner look like a Trail Edition or TRD Off Road 4Runner?

Hi,

I really like the Trail Edition 4Runner with the fake hood scoop, silver trim on the front, and the darker colored trim on the dash around the radio and doors in the interior.

Has anyone modded a SR5 Premium to make it look like the Trail Edition or TRD Off Road 4Runners? I don’t want black leather seats, so that is why I’m not interested in the Trail Edition Premium since black leather (which is really hot in the summer) is not my thing. The tan seats in the SR5 Premium are nice though and I like the cloth seats in the trail edition.

If you are asking if the parts will fit, then yes. If you are asking for pictures of what it would look like, then look up a TRD Off Road Premium...

I don't really understand the question here.

The hood scoop apparently adds a lot of glare and also it serves no real purpose, the silver trim on bumpers doesn't really look that good and can get ripped off while off roading, and the interior color would be an easy thing to just paint or swap.

Do you want a locking rear differential and multi terrain select, along with a better resale? Then go TRDOR.

I can't find the thread right now, but there's a guy here who transformed his Limited into a Pro. I'm sure if you were to undertake the effort, you'd find his build helpful.

Yes, it's a bit of work and it seems all the parts can be fitted between trim levels. It's pretty much a matter of time and money.

See Daytona's thread he has a parts list for the front end. It might be a bit easier with the SR5-TRD because it virtually the same bumper. The Limited has the big square one.

Also...should the day come you want to trade it in, many dealers will only value your VIN, not your mods.
