My wife suggested I start thinking about a newer vehicle, as my 2012 TE now has 200K miles (not a record, I know). I don't really want anything newer, and it should be good for a few more years, especially since I'm retired and not driving to work, which I was still doing 2-3 days a week even with some remote days.
But it got me thinking, and doing some looking online. If I was to get a newer 5th Gen 4R, I would want Android Auto, floor mount 4wd shift same as my OG Trail Edition, and starting with a key, not push button start. I may have to go to push button, but I'm resisting.
Does anyone have or know of a 4Runner year & model with those 3 attributes?
Or know for certain that there ain't no such thing from the factory?
2020 is the first year with Android Auto, as far as I can tell (Google AI says so). I think the TRD Off Roads have the floor mount 4wd shift. Seems like 2020 TRD OR Premiums have push button start, from what I've seen.
Thanks in advance for any helpful remarks. And, I'm OK with some light abuse in reply, too. ;-)
