Anyone offroad Moab?

Kind of a random question. I'm going to be visiting Arches National Park doing some night photography at Window Arch. The campground at Devil's Garden is currently is full, and all the remaining campgrounds outside the park are first come first serve, and I don't necessarily want to look for a campsite in the middle of the night.

Anyone know of anywhere in the park near Window Arch where I can possibly offroad a bit and crash for the night where I won't be bugged by Rangers or anyone else?

Nope. The only camping in the park itself is at the campground, or sometimes you can get a backcountry permit but you're not allowed to use it within a mile of the road. I don't recommend trying to hide your truck and sleep through the night without a permit.

What do you mean the campgrounds outside the park are first come first served? The entire town of Moab is full of RV parks and campgrounds that take reservations. There's primitive camping literally everywhere around town, some paid some not, but unless you're planning on being there during EJS it's practically impossible to not find a campsite.
