anyone sold their running boards?

anyone ever sold their running boards off their 4runner. if so how much did you get off them?

same here. posted them in the classifieds here, had a seriously interested party that afternoon. met him half way (about a 45 min drive) and got $180

Yeah, I say try again. I posted mine for 150.00. A guy drove up from Denver, an hour away and took them for 130.00. I hadnt even planned on selling them, but saw another post on CL from a guy asking 150 for his too. Funny thing is, his post was like a month old, and I sold mine that same day! Sold my front bumper too. It was only posted for a day as well. Got 100 for it.

Got $75 for mine in Colorado. I think the CO market works against running boards.

Threw mine in a dumpster and called it a day. They were all cut up though because of all te rust and stuff.

I posted the running boards and my old split spokes in CL Thursday afternoon. Wheels were gone Friday morning and running boards were gone yesterday morning. Got full asking for both. Made me wonder why I waited so long to post them.

Got um listed for $125 but id be happy with a hundred. Sure could use that cash.

Parts I have laying around after losing my bout with mod fever:

- Front shocks/coils still assembled
- Rear coils (not showing noticeable sag when they were removed)
- Front brake rotors (still with good meat on them)
- Running boards

I always figured it would all end up in the dumpster this Spring after I clean out the garage. Reading this has changed my mind. Gonna post it all on CL and see what happens. Might get lucky...

I gave mine away. Anything I've taken off my rig that I feel I couldn't get more than $75 for i figure would be better and easier to give to a fellow member. Even if it means spending a buck or two shipping it to them.

thats good news to hear. going to try and dump mine on craigslist they are in mint condition. gonna try 150. we will see what the oklahoma market is for running boards..
