Anyone tried Aries Offroad Sliders?

Anyone have these sliders on their rig? Looking for some CHEAP rock sliders and came across these. Look decent and very cheap but a little nervous that there are no reviews on the website.

OP, be warned these are not a true rock slider. These are nothing more than a step bar. These will not protect your rocker panels.

Those aren't sliders, they're heavy duty side steps. By design they look prone to getting hung up on obstacles, not to mention the questionable frame mounts.

I'd suggest keeping your eyes out for a used set of true sliders, or have a local fabricator build some for you. Weld-on is usually cheaper than bolt on, and easier to fabricate. Hope that helps.

Agreed! Think I paid around $580 for mine, then painted them myself with bed liner. If you want steps, buy those. You want sliders, buy sliders.

Like what was previously stated, these aren’t rock sliders at all. These mount to the body, not the frame. Not designed to protect from rocks at all.

You spent decent money on a newer 4Runner but want to cheap out on cheap parts? This is something I will never understand.

also, why go with a unknown company. There are so many more proven companies to go for and with the holiday's coming up, you may find some of the vendors discounting their products.

Aries isn’t unknown. They have been making brush guards, side steps and a bunch of other vehicle accessories for years. Cosmetic pieces, not protection pieces.
