Anyone tried the Kuat Vagabond with the low pro Rola mounts?

Their dimensions are a little different but maybe not to different that it wouldn't work. Does anyone have the Vagabond rack? Is it too wide to fit in between the OEM roof rails? I'd like to mount this rack up with the low profile mounts people use on their Rola Vortex racks. What do y'all think, is this a possibility?

I have the Kuat Vagabond rack. It's definitely too wide to fit in between the rails. I would say its pretty close to the width of the rails edge to edge. It mounts fairly low though. I have fj coils and bilsteins with 275/75/16 tires and am still under 7' with the rack on top.

There is a higher end Kuat rack that is narrower and longer that might fit between them.

The vagabond X is pricier, but narrower and longer. I do not know if it's narrow enough to fit between the rails however.

If that's the Vagabond it won't work with the low mounts anyway.

The low mounts (assuming you're talking about the ones from Armortech Off Road) are L-shaped brackets that attach to the factory rack, then attach to the Rola Rack with upside-down U bolts.

The reason I don't think the rack pictured above would work is that the U-bolts wrap around a bar that runs fore-and-aft on each side of the Rola rack, and that rack doesn't seem to have one.

EDIT: Whoops, I thought I had the pics on my photobucket, but I didn't. So I just ran out to the garage and took some. Here's what I'm talking about:

Unless the rack in question has that lower, fore-and-aft running tube, you can't use the low mount kit because that's what the kit's U-bolts attach to.
