Anyone use the HID Kit Pros Low Beams?

Been researching for some time now on replacements for my 4Runner's horrible low beams. Leaning towards 4300K HIDs. Now that Xenon Depot has sold to new owners, and it seems that people are having trouble getting any service from them, I was considering the HID Kit Pros Hylux Kit.

I know the Wanderlost Overland guys like them and have a great install video. Anyone else have experience with this kit?

I have no experience with that particular kit but I can tell you that thier customer service is second to none!!! Personally I'd recommend going with the Morimoto hid kit. I think it comes with the HD wiring harness as well.

I have those on mine. Low beams and fogs. Nice kit. I got the 5k ones.They work nice but to me the cutoff is still to low for my liking but that's the housing and not the lights. Still find I use the high beams alot.

I purchased the 'OPT-7' HID KIT about three years ago without a snag or a glitch... so very satisfied with this kit; installs in about 30 to 45 mins... without removing the battery! And at $28.95 per kit, I bought two (one for a spare); just in case one light goes out at night, far away from civilization or an 'Auto-Zone' Lol!

I've never been Flashed in on coming traffic... at leased not for my low-beams (I do however, have some very bright LED fogs and a light-bar that I've used at possibly a bad time), but never my for my H-11 HID's! Their output is not harsh, but a soft ice-blue (6,000K) and very un-offensive. 'Best to you',

Thanks for the info. I was also considering the H-11 to H-9 conversion. Seems like the HIDs would give more output though.

I installed this HID Kit Pros low-beam kit in my 5th gen last week. Installation is easy, they work well, and are extremely bright. So bright that any reflective traffic sign I approach with these lights on glows white even during the day. However, I regularly get flashed by oncoming traffic on dark roads. These headlights are so annoyingly bright that they piss off oncoming traffic, despite being properly adjusted. I hate to be that obnoxious driver with headlights like two supernova suns aimed at everyone else on the road.
I will aim them a bit lower to see if it makes a difference. If I still get flashed a bunch, I'll get rid of them, and instead get dedicated HID off-road lights that I can flick on and off as needed. Oh, and they are illegal as well, btw. That's a non-issue where I live in Tucson AZ, where traffic and auto laws go pretty much unenforced, but this might be a problem in other more civilized areas of the country.
Funny thing is, I never had an issue with the factory low beams. They gave me enough illumination when overlanding in the dark. Hope this helps.
