Did anyone watch Generation Kill on HBO last night? Well, a idiot Captain took his AK and shot up a third generation 4Runner. What a waste.

Toyota 4runner AK47'd up! Pretty sad.
Ok ok, before you want to see pictures of it, I have to explain it was on HBO and do not have any to post.
It was on the new TV Show "Generation Kill" a new series about the military presence in Iraq. A Rolling Stone reporter, embedded with The 1st Recon Marines chronicles his experiences during the first wave of the American-led assault on Baghdad in 2003.
Anyway, the scene showed a Humvee convoy driving up on this road they stopped for a few minutes, where a Marine Commander had an AK47 and he shot it out of the window of the Humvee. Some of the Marines had no idea where the gunfire was coming from. He was frustrated that the convoy was ordered to stop and shot up a 1st or 2nd Generation 4Runner. It wasn't occupied just parked on the side of the road.
It was visually saddening. There were real holes in it too. Glad it wasn't mine.
Just thought I'd let people know about it...the 4Runner slaughter, not the show. hehe.

alright guys, I haven't seen the footage, but so far its been called 1st, 2nd and 3rd gen? You 4th gen guys need to work on your vehicle recognition skills....

Maybe the clip will come on youtube and we can see which generation 4Runner it is.
