Anza Borrego November 18-20th Camping/Wheeling?

I was planning to go camping around the mud caves, split mountain, or any other areas in Anza Borrego and have heard there are some good runs out there. Just putting it out there if anyone wants to join or have some suggestions for some easy/beginner runs?
November 18-20th is the plan.

No, just a lvl 2 class with ITTS.

Unless you know the chief of police or the sheriff, CCW permits are virtually impossible to get in LA County...or socal. Or that's what I've been told.

It's looking like I'm going go out Saturday morning and do the Arroyo Tapiado & Arroyo Seco del Diablo Loop Trail, set up camp along the way around the mud caves. Explore the area and come back Sunday morning.

sounds perfect. take lots of pics! i was planning on this but my wife reminded me we have dinner plans. :\ damn weekends are filling up quickly.

Hopefully dinner plans meant a nice fat steak in the middle of the desert!? If not I am always down for a weekender trip or during my breaks weekday ones. Joshua tree and Sequioa in the winter is on the list, 395 up to Tahoe!? It goes on.

waiting to see what Drunner7 has planned for JTNP in march. sequoia and kings canyon have been on my list for a while.

395 to tahoe has been my august for the last few years. alabama hills, onion valley, buckeye, cerro gordo, fallen leaf... it goes on!

Good luck. I didn't realize photography was such a dangerous biz.

Camera gear isn't cheap. Professional photographers will typically have nearly 10-20k in gear at any given point with them. I'd want a ccw too if I was carrying around that much money worth of gear.

When I was into watches, I had a few that were pretty expensive, but that didn't mean I should carry.

If every photographer in L.A. used the same justification, photo shoot would have a completely different meaning.

i plan on going here on black friday, i have a 2WD, and a beginner. what are easy trails (dirt and medium size rocks) that my 4runner can make it through with no problem? thanks.
