Fun weekend trip to Anza Borrego for So Cal Off-Road Explorers' annual rally.

My daughter came along on this trip. Here we are at Vista del Malpais.




We then headed over Calcite Mine and hiked around by the wind caves.

Woke up nice and early the next day




We cruised over to Culp Valley, Jasper Trail, and Grapevine Canyon










On the way home we visited the Iron Serpent sculptor's gallery along Hwy 79 and was greeted by Ricardo Breceda himself. He has hundreds of other iron sculptures that Anza Borrego did not use.






All in all, it was a great trip. No horrendous battle scars and we met a bunch of new explorers willing to test out their machines.
