Apple iPhone 8/X and A11

What's everyone ordering for cases?

No shortage of options out there now. So many I'm really not sure what makes a good case vs a poor one these days.

A few days ago, Otterbox had a sale...10% off + free 2 day shipping...so, i got Otterbox Pursuit case. I also got the Spigen glass protector on Amazon for it.
 
I have an ip7+ and yeah, I think it's pretty much similar with the 8. which is why some aren't too psyched about it.
 
Order placed. I was able to get through quickest on my ipad when none of my other devices would load the store. Was still given a delivery window of 2-3 weeks. Damn. Lets hope that updates.

Less than 10 min and the shipping is now 2-3 weeks. I got my order into Verizon BEFORE 2am...around 1:55 am. I will get it Nov 3. :)

congrats, thanks to apple not selling a sim free version and my nimwitted sister changing the verizon pin code I had nov 3 but got booted out 2-3 weeks on one phone and 4-5 on the second and had to order through my carrier which always takes way longer than apple.

This was my experience as well. ATT website, my order was placed at 11:56 PM.

November 3rd delivery for me, but to my house in San Diego and I'm in Phoenix haha.
 
I was able to snag one last night....er this morning. I tried on laptop, iPad and phone. ultimately I got through on my phone using the AT&T app with a delivery date of Nov 3rd. I leave town on Nov 3rd so I'm having it shipped to a friends house. hoping it doesn't cause any issues. I went with space gray 64gb. I have a 64gb now and I still have 20gb free. I figured the 64gb were in less demand too which bettered my chances.

I didn't add apple care or anything, I am hoping I can add it later. I just wanted to get the order in and worry about the rest later

Nice. Apple Care can be added in the first, I believe, 45 days…:)
 
The black bar on the X looks like it would drive me nuts, I just keep wanting to stare at it.

I'm hoping they make an SE2 with the 7 or 8 guts next year.

Yeah, but hopefully app developers will adapt to the new screen soon. If X sells in significant amount (which should be the case), then developers will follow the rules. I am not so much concern about that because X is projected to outsell every iphone before it.

SE2 will be nice. Until my X arrives, i still very much like my old 5S. My current 7+ is nice, but somehow i still like the small form factor of 5S. The X may be the Goldilock of what i want...small form factor with dual camera (a must for me).

I have the 128 GB SE. It’s pretty much the perfect phone, but I wish they would put better guts into the next generation. It’s also tiny so it fits into just about any pocket.

The price point is pretty damn awesome and I love the headphone jack because I have a bunch of cars that don’t have Bluetooth. I would like it if Apple continued with the entry-level phones, because they seem to be more my speed, especially if you have over 100 GB of storage.

My "ultimate" Apple phone is the SE size, 1-gen old CPU, and bezel-less screen like the iPhone X. Hoping to see one with those features next year. Until then, I just bought an 8+. I was up at 2AM and scored an iPhone X but cancelled the order. I'll let others debug it for 6 months....
