ARB Bumper Owners: Your Body Lift Experience Please

I'm going to move forward with a body lift here shortly. 1 or 1.5 inch, I haven't decided yet. Part of what I'm undecided on is how well the ARB will cooperate with each of those sizes of BL.

I've read the countless posts claiming it isn't 'BL friendly'. But I've also seen just as many posts and/or photos from people WITH the ARB and a BL sounding like there wasn't too much of an issue (especially when you're talking 1.5" max anyway).

So, those of you who happen to have both (ESPECIALLY those who installed the ARB first, and did a BL later):
My directions for the ARB had me 'pin' the bumper on the brackets in addition to the predrilled holes on the the brackets used. Did you do this, and did you repin the bumper higher after the BL? Or did you just use only the (I think) 4 bolts that mount the bumper to the brackets without the 5th 'pinning' bolt?

OR, did you just leave the bumper where it was originally, if so, any pics on the current gap (and mention of which size BL you're using)?

I'm basically looking to do 1.5", because why not. And if the why not is 'it will look fairly ugly and 1" will get you pretty much the same tire clearance in the future anyway' then I may have an easy decision.

Second hand experience/replies as well as those that have gone through something slightly similar with other bumpers are welcome as well :banana:

Actually, maybe if you stumble on this thread and happen to have a quick photo of a 1" and/or 1.5" body lifted 4th gen with the front bumper NOT adjusted (gap-city), that might help as well. And on that thought, back to the search bar I go!
