FYI - The plastic box that the ARB portable air compressor comes in is too tall to put into the ARB drawer...ppppppppfffffffffffttttttt wtf?

I'm going to unscrew it from the box and find a smaller box or soft case. There is room to make the ARB toolbox low enough to fit into the drawer. Not sure how they missed this one.

well received my compressor last night........in this condition. Mounting plate was scratched up from where the holes are shown on the bottom of the box. UPS driver had to hand me the box with both his hands under the box because he was "afraid the product was going to fall out of the bottom." Don't want to put blame on either UPS or the supplier, but this def didn't rub me the right way. Everything inside looks to be ok, but only a test hookup and running of the unit will tell.

Your box was supposed to have a plastic band around the length and circumference.

Even with that mine tore the edge of the box at the bottom edge. Yours obviously came off and someone had to tape it back together.

Those bands work great unless they get nicked. If the long one broke the short one would not have held everything together for long.

Really hard to say where things started in order to end up that way. You have manufacturer, warehouse, delivery.

But that does put a whole new twist on "drop shipped".

Out of 80 compressors being shipped out, one or two were bound to have issues, they are really heavy in shipping.

Did a down and dirty hookup to test, and everything is working just fine!
