ARB Front Bumper Request List

ARB will be developing the bumper for the 4runner. Measurements were made this past week and it will look similar to the ARB 4runner shown at SEMA. Once the Australian Engineer returns production should begin.

More info to come in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, keep on emailing them so they'll expedite the process!!

Thanks again! GOod luck!

Why should we be bothering the good folks at ARB any longer? I think they have been thoroughly bugged enough. I'm going Shrockworks. At least they have been straight forward and interested in actually bringing this product to market- soon.:flipoff: :gun: :moon: :satan: :behead:

ShrockWorks.com front bull bar winch bumper coming soon, as well as anything else they might make soon.. rear bumper maybe?

The biggest reason why we should continue to push for ARB to develop this bumper is because the 4runner market will greatly benefit from this. ARB has never developed and sold a bumper for the 4runner so this is a big business move on their part. Like any business when they make a decision, it helps if the community is there to applaud their decisions. If the community does not respond back in a positive manner then the opportunity will go away and future developments for the 4runner will not happen.

I have been heavily involved in the 4th gen market and will continue to do this as I know that others will benefit from this. I am just here to pass some information and have no ties to many of the vendors that I advertise. All I am trying to do is build a strong aftermarket community for the 4runner so others will have a better chance at deciding on what vendor they wish to go with.

We all need to band together when a new vendor makes products for our 4runners. Without that, we will not have the opportunity for any aftermarket products.

I hope this gives some light for others as I will always push for any and all vendors supporting the 4runner market. Two thumbs up for those that support us!

Good luck

I hear your frustration My034runner, and would tend to want to do the same, but im fully understanding Good Times perspective and completely with him on his idea to back ARB and their efforts, (however slow they may be). I can also understand ARB's "should we, should we not" approach in launching an entirely new product line. I have the feeling that a very well known, very reputable company like ARB taking a step forward like this could be a win-win-win situation for them, toyota, and the 4th gen aftermarket industry. ARB has heard our requests, soon 4wheelers in 4th gen 4Runners are seen all about with ARB products, future suv shoppers who are considering buying 4runners might make the decision to go with a toyota due to the availability of quality, serious, off-roading aftermarket products, other overland accessory producers see that 4th gens are really used to thier potential and jump on board with new aftermarket products. I like it! Many thanks to Lance and others who have been helping our voice be heard.
ps. Lance, did you cruz any trails with expeditionwest when you took those pic.s? a couple of those spots looked funnn.

Nope, I just met up with them at one of the pit stops to get some detailed shots of the ARB products since people were interested in the details :)

Glad you did! Any idea on which application the ARB roof rack/mounts came from. (LandCruiser,Prado,..??) I'm on the hunt to replace my yakima and that puppy looks STOUT. If not, no worries, and again, thanks for the pics and your persistance with ARB.

Well Tim finally got back to me, seems like they are extremely busy over at ARB. And the news is not good at this point. The bumper IS NOT officially approved for development at this point in time, no timeframe was given either. :( He stated that they have done a lot of pre-production work, but that is were they are.

So I still don't know if it will ever happen or not :( :(

I have send them about 6 emails in the last 2 weeks, and zillions in the last 2 1/2 years or so.

I think we should keep sending emails to the ARB, otherwise they will stop working on 4Runner at all.

I have received ARB catalogue tonight and by looking through it, I did mentioned Sahara Bull Bar. It's available for Prado/GX. So if ARB is modifying Deluxe Bull Bar, should they offer Sahara one? I'd prefer Sahara on my truck due to its SS tube which will looks great on black 4Runner. It also gives more prestige look to the vehicle, when Deluxe gives extreme off-road look.

The bar is finally in the final stages of design. We should have a bar part number in the next couple of weeks and production soon after that.

UNREAL!!!!!!!!
Many thanks for your response Jim.

What's happening around production of ARB Front Bumper for the 4th Gen.?
Surfari has information that the final presale bumper is ready and has been shipped to US, and as soon as they will get confirmation of exact fitting, ARB will start production.
Therefore, I've sent a few emails to ARM-USA for the past month and didn't get any respond.
Does someone have any up-to-date information regarding this bumper?

I emailed ARB-USA yesterday because I thought they received the final bar this week but Jim sent me a reply that I was off by a week

Hi Jim,
We're looking forward to the results of the test fit later this week and hopeful that everything works as planned. Do you happen to have any idea as to what we might expect price-wise for the Deluxe Bullbar, or is it still too early? Is it safe to say it will be about the same as the new Tacoma bar?
Any info would be appreciated, but in the mean time, we are just looking forward to the Bars future release.
Thanks again Jim,
Ray

The test fit won't be this week. They are supposed to be sending the bar at the end of the week so we won't have it until the middle of next week.
I'll have pricing a week or 2 after the test fit is confirmed.

Probably because we are in Mexico-of-The-North and they won't be exporting to us(?)

I got this email 2minutes ago from ARB:

Alex,

The 4th gen 4Runner bar is under development, but it is still too early to be able to give any ETA on when it might be ready or what the part number will be.

The bar we are currently planning is the traditional bullbar with
bushguard.

Looks like they have planned only Deluxe version, no Sahara one.
Second thing in this email Tim said that ETA is unknown.
