ARB front bumper

I know that everyone is waiting for the ARB to come out. My question is will the added weight of the ARB (and winch) drastically effect handling and will it cause the front end to lose some height (if so how much will the front end drop approximatly).

Will it be necessary or helpful to get front coilovers to adjust height accordingly and help with overall handling?

When and if the ARB comes out i would like to get one i am just trying to get an overall idea of how much it is going to effect the drive and how much it is going to cost in order to correct some of it's drawbacks (weight).

Sorry if this has been talked about before but i could only find discussions on when it will come out and not about how it will perform.

Thanks

ARB + Winch = 150-200# (depending on configuration).

Stock Bumper = 10-25# (approximate)

You do the math... I think adding that much weight will definitely lower the front. How much? I don't know.

With a lift up front, you should be fine. Driving characteristics? The rig will be heavier so figure mpg will go down some what. It'll be like driving with someone onboard on a regular basis.

Good luck

SInce the ones for the 4th gen aren't out yet, it's hard to say. I've seen them for other vehicles anywhere between $600 and $1200. My guess is they will be towards the upper end of this, probably around $900 to $1000. That's just my guess though.
