Are the alignment specs the same for KDSS and non-KDSS models?

I just took my 4Runner to get an alignment after installing a 1.5 inch lift and 285/70/17 tires. The printout says Trail/TRD with KDSS even though it's a TRD Pro without KDSS. Just wondering if that's something I should be concerned about. Sorry if it's a dumb question. I don't know anything about KDSS...

Also, is this any good with stock UCAs?

The alignment specs for KDSS vs. non-KDSS do in fact differ a little bit, but it doesn't matter in your case because the alignment you got is way outside of spec for either of them.

It looks like you just got a "toe and go" where they didn't even bother trying to get the camber and caster right. With only 1.5" lift, you should be able to do a lot better than that. I'd try again.

Dang, I was under the impression that 2 degree caster was about the best one could do with stock UCAs? And I think the guy mentioned that the dial was maxed out for both camber and caster. What should I be shooting for?

He said it’s a pro with 1.5” so I assume that means 2.5” overall. Still people have gotten a lot better than that from what I’ve seen.

Good catch -- I missed that it's a TRDPro, and I revise my response accordingly: with 2.5" of total lift, I guess it's conceivable that 2.1 degrees of caster might be all that could be obtained, although that still seems on the low side. It's just that the "before" numbers are the same as the "actual" numbers, giving the impression that it wasn't adjusted at all.

Still, the camber numbers seems kind of sloppy -- seems like it should be possible to get closer to zero on both sides. It can take a bit of juggling of the cam bolts at both ends to extract the best numbers.

OP, as long as you're happy with how the truck drives -- if it doesn't feel too wandery and it seems to self-center after a turn OK -- then there's no real reason to worry about the caster numbers. A low caster angle doesn't hurt anything except the steering feel.
