are those Motorvac type cleanings any good?

I did a full tuneup recently, ignition coils and everything, and she is running like a champ but I'm curious if those fuel system cleanings some places do are worth it for preventative maintenance. Or should I just buy a case of Techron at Costco? Or not bother with anything?

Do it yourself and save. You know there's a whole long list of products everyone swears by (stabil, seafoam, lucas, chevron, royal purple, stp, quicksilver,rislone, mercury marine, moose racing, ect.).

In my experience first trying to find ONE product I could use for several things.

First and most important use was for small engines was the alcohol treatment.

Second, fuel system cleaner.

Third was carbon deposit cleaning.

Fourth was cost effectiveness.

What i found was a product that met all 4, especially the last. So i buy it in quarts off amazon and use it on All my engines. It makes a difference in autos in about 3000 miles of use (for decarboning).

I put 4oz of acetone in at fill up........a gallon lasts a long time.
