I can to longer criticize other members for the anal-retentive details they fuss about with their vehicles. I bought a box of 30 “just rights” when I still had 9 of 10 “a little bit smalls” still in the carton.

I don't put paper tissues in the car because those sit there and dry out and when you use them you get cotton (paper) fibers all over the dash and instrument cluster and then there is static. I wish designers use that space for additional storage ala double compartment seeing in other models. Or even "sandwich holder" 4th gen:

I keep tissues in my car as a courtesy to my wife. I’ve never seen them disintegrate as you’ve described.
