I was behind him so i offered to pull him back level, bad idea! I broke one of my bumper mounts

I was able to pull off the trail and let Hayden pull him out





Get to the next meeting spot and I help pull one of the smaller runners thru and then snap :shocked: Somehow 3 of my lbj bolts worked themselves out (they were locktighted and torqued) and the remaining one sheered off inside the spindle.

Field repair, I forgot I live in Co so now its sunny and about 20 degrees warmer. I was mad and muddy so I just crawled under to get it fixed. Not the idea set up but we had 2 hilifts as well as the stock jack supporting the front side

I borrowed some bolts from Devins runner, but could only get the front two bolts to hold, guess what happens a mile down the trail... Except this time I was going up a hill, the last hill I probably had to make before I could fully limp it off the trail

Ripped the cv apart, spindle no longer connected to the lbj, busted my washer fluid pump (the blue leak), pushed the tire up into the fender denting it and pulling a flare off.

This is where we called it a day, we had been on the trail for 7 hours now, and were all cold, hungry, thirsty and tired. We backed Stormie (aka panda) down the trail a little, grabbed my valuables and left her there :Cry:

Jake had to go between some trees to get around me and broke his mirror, dented both doors and pulled part of his flare off

The next day fixing the spindle with tanner, took about 3 hours to fix but just reaching panda took almost an hour so we didn't get off the trail until 7, we got to the trailhead by 1:30. Jake was in the process of getting a search party ready to come look for us since we had no service.

So now shes back in my parking lot but has to be parked for a few weeks until I can afford to start my repairs. My major concern is how my bumper broke when I wasn't putting a ton of strain on it.

Nothing really new to announce, so I'm just gonna add a post of pictures. Built a rear tire carrier with Snivilous, went to a few truck shows, got my front bumper welded back on, got skid plates, painted the rear, gonna undo it soon though, and finally some drls :banana:

I like the paint along the side to protect the doors. I keep thinking of doing it but time and inexperience with body painting pushes the thought away.

Do it! I suck at painting but made it look somewhat decent. Just clean the area well and tape straight lines. its quite simple, only a can or 2 of rattle can and you can do it with a kinda textured paint if you're not super confident

I've been having a lot of cv related problems, I have too much travel (I think due to spc ucas) and I keep binding snd breaking my passenger cv. But anyways some random pics

Panhard drop installed, it makes a huge difference in my opinion, even with an adjustable Trac bar

Got me some projectors, who knew seeing at night was possible
