ATF Hold???? What Gives?

you can always get set up with an ID Pin if this becomes frequent. I have not looked into the process but my understanding is that it is not that hard. The pin is handy if you have a close SSN or DOB to that of a felon. This has been the reason for holds of people I know. Get the PIN and you "shouldn't" be delayed. But as always, FATF. :gun5:

And they are at about a 14 month delay for tax stamps.

The EO totally screwed up all Tax Stamp filings.

I don't see why we need "permission" to have SBRs, and cans should be sold over the counter--since they cut down noise pollution and save hearing!

I have several stamp guns (some are 2 stampers) and the process is maddening.

At least when I needed CLEO approval, my CO Sheriffs were delighted to sign the paperwork.

Trusts are $20 online blank forms. Read them, fill in the blanks and have a notary sign off. Boom Done. If you guys can read manuals to rip down your 4runners you can read a standard trust form. Take the money you saved doing it this way and buy more NFA goodies, or, well, anything else that makes liberals cry.

Thanks to the recent EOs, there's little benefit of having a firearms trust at this point when it comes to filing the paperwork--which was really the only reason to have one.

There are other benefits as well. I am in a group trust. We can borrow each other's cans/NFA items if we want. Also once my son is of age he can join the trust and you can pass the NFA items along as well with out another tax stamp wait and payment.

I agree with that. Why is it illegal to have vehicles without mufflers but you have to jump through a billion hoops to get a muffler for your firearm?

I probably won't be getting any more stamps due to the new laws.

Don't give up hope. There is I believe it's called "the hearing protection act" to take suppressor off the NFA list. That would put them where they should be. Nothing more than a firearm accessory. Everybody in the "media" makes the public think it turns you in to James Bond. No it allows me to shoot super sonic ammo with out ear pro. This enables easier communication with a spotter to better help me practice.
