Attn: Northern Virginia Toyota Club: Pott's Run or Taskers Gap 4/2?

This came up on the Capital Land Cruiser Club discussion, there was some interest, but nobody's confirmed.

Anyone game to do a shake-out run onto Taskers Gap and then try Potts Jeep Road?

I am told my stock 2011 TE w Sliders and better tires would be able to do most of Potts except for the gnarly optional stuff.

ETA: We'll be at the Apple House diner at 0930 or 1000, and expect to be at the Tasker's Gap trail head (see GWSF pages) GPS coordinates around 1100, give or take 30 minutes.

how was it? i know a few people going to run potts in a few weeks and they said i would be fine in my stock 01 4Runner... I'm a little skeptical, but i still want to go. Any opinions?

We didn't make it to Potts. We did Tasker's Gap and Peter's Mill (both ways, since the Taskers side exit is closed) and were pretty much finished at that point, and our junior passenger started protesting.

I am told my TE w. sliders would be fine. I don't know.
