Hope they gave the dog a nice treat if it wasn't for them walking the dog they would of missed out on that big nugget, the dad also needs to buy the daughter a nice gift as well!

The Aussies are lucky to have such big gold down there, it's especially rare to find any gold just laying on the surface (A.K.A. "sunbaker") like that but it does happen, I found a sunbaker up in North Carolina a few years ago but it was much much smaller, 2.4 grams, only worth about $100, it's very exciting when you just look down and see a nugget just laying there!!
