Auto to Manual tranny swap?

Anyone ever done a swap from an auto to manual transmission? I have a 91 V6 that needs a engine rebuild and found a wrecked one with a running engine and manual transmission for super cheap. (less then the cost to do a rebuild!) I figured if I'm going to do all this work, I might as well change to a manual since that is what I really want anyway.

I am just curious if all the mounts are the same or if I'm going to have to get new ones welded in, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mounts and all are the same, you'll have to deal with the ECM so it doesn't know the tranny is missing.

Be sure to get the manual's t-case too, the auto's case is integral to the tranny.

Cool, I'm actually getting the whole vehicle with a bent up frame so it's going to have the ECU and everything with it.
