Hi I am new to this forum.
I have a 1989 YN130 4 Runner with a 4YE engine (Australian issue) with an A340H Aisen Transmission.I have rebuilt the transmission and am now having trouble making it work properly. I have had it out twice and rechecked everything machanical including the valve body which I have had checked by transmission specialist.
The problem I am having is changing timing.
Wants to change into higher ranges almost imeadiately.
Can hold in 1st OK but in 2nd range it starts in 1st but quickly changes to 2nd hence no pull away power. In D range it quickly changes through all gears so that you are in 3rd when you should still be in 1st. There is also no kick down and you have to manually change back into lower gears. I thoroughly checked the opperation of the kick down valve and cable adjustment.
I am feeling the problem lies with the throttle position switch or speed sensors. Can anybody tell me where I can get a wiring diagram for this Austalian model or have any sugestions as to what the problem may be.

Problem was caused by anburnt printed circuit in the throttle position switch
I bridged with wire and works great
