Thanks! I don't have the part number for that clip but when I get home on Wednesday from work, I think I'll go to Toyota and order a few and add the part number to the video description.

I've ordered plenty of wrong parts but luckily they've been relatively cheaper parts like bulbs, fasteners, etc. I'm pretty sure the part number for that clip is 90467-07041-B7 (charcoal) & 90467-07041-E0 (oak).

My cousin has access to a CNC machine. I was considering trying to cut down nylon spacers that would take the place of the new bushings (they wouldn’t ever disintegrate) but his boss said, ah, no. :tsk: :doh:

I'm pretty sure the two part numbers I provide in the video description will take care of the two different style oil deflectors unless there's another surprise. I was pretty bummed when I realized there was a difference between transfer case styles for the deflector but that's the way it goes. Quite often my local dealer has what I need in stock but not this time.

So, you must have a limited model based off the oil deflector part number you used.

It's for the multimode transfer case that I believe was standard for all 01-02 & limited models of previous years.

Gotcha. That's a mistake I made in the video. I thought all the SR5 models had the J-shifter but that's not the case. I added a notation in the video description noting this.

Thanks for making the instructional video, it's gonna help me a lot when I tackles this job. Do you have the OEM part number for the shifter seat assembly? I might replace the whole assembly rather than just replacing the bushing made by Marlin Crawler.

Sorry, we don't have that part number. You should just get the Marlin Crawler shifter seat and save some money. The shitty thing is the shipping is more than the bushing. You'd think they'd be able to put it in a small envelope and ship it for a few bucks instead of the $13 they charge for shipping. The best value is to also buy other things you could use from them to make the shipping worth it.

I learned that Marlin Crawler's BLUE bushing replaces both the bushing and the rubber washer beneath it. Problem solved.

I used Marlin crawler's transfer and 5-speed shift leaver bushings for the Hilux! No complains. I also use their front solid axle earth seals and happy with the decision. OEM "NOK" brand uses a spring (most common) but Marlin Crawler used a steel wire which always grabs on to the axle. A good Design.
