The ugliest dog award goes to Toyota ! At least from the comment section. Now if I could have GC's looks and tech in a T4R.

Where are sales at in this segment?

Good article. I find it interesting that they differentiate the JGC from the cross-over segment and how Jeep has been able to achieve that distinction amongst the general market. Even I don't look at the JGC as a cross-over.
 
Seems like a relatively unbiased review. However, I never pay attention to the "appearance/looks" reviews as this is based solely on personal preference.
 
I read autoblog everyday for it's articles on the industry. I even have their app on my smartphone. Anyway, when they do car/SUV reviews, I take it with a gain of salt. For me, the JGC and 4Runner are different animals. Sure the GC is all nice/comfortable/tech-laden while the Runner is not. For us 4R fanatics, that is fine. We all don't necessarily want that. What they or ANY automotive media outlet (publish/web/whatever) never take into account is reliability and longevity. I don't care how nice the GC is, I know it will fall apart at 60,000miles. Brand new, sure, any vehicle is very nice, but how about they road test the damn thing when it has 100,000 or 150,000 miles on the clock........................
