Avatar issue

Trying to upload an avatar and it seems to take the file but the image does not disaplay. I know the image if of the correct size and filesize. I have tried both direct upload and to link externally. All I can think is the / in my username is causing an issue with the URL to the filename. Thoughts?

Mine isn't working either. It shows up in my USER CP Page, but not here.
