A few weeks ago I started a thread about replacing one of the roof rack end caps on my brides 2007 4-Runner. The prices ranged from $59 bucks to well over $100, just for that one plastic part.

Rodtheviking......reached out to me via "PM" and said he had the part and would send it to me free of charge...he didn't even let me pay for shipping!

I wanted to let him know as well as others here that there are still wonderful folks with big generous hearts and souls that go out of their way to help complete strangers.

I just wanted to update this thread regarding the cap that "Rodtheviking" sent me. Completely free of charge, and he wouldn't even accept shipping costs.

My bride and I have been away for a while traveling between MD Anderson in Houston TX and FL. She's been battling cancer for 2.5 years now. Our lives are pretty much revolving around that.

I apologize for not letting you know that the part fits like a glove and has made that trip twice now with absolutely no incidents.
