Awesome price on Bilstein 5100s

I just placed an order for (4) Bilstein 5100s from Down South and the order came out to 329$. I later received an email that they were priced incorrectly and are actually 309$.

Killer Deal if you are interested.

"Thank you for the order. There was an error on the pricing for this
item. It is actually only $309.99 for the set of "4" not $329.99. So we
will adjust it on our end and you will only be charged the $309.99. Your
shocks will ship out today and we will email you a receipt at the end of

I have been shopping for 5100's for a week or two and down south motor sports were the best price hands down. I finally purchased a set this afternoon thinking the price may go up at any time.

Now all I need to order are a pair of the Toytec 1/2" spacers and my FJ coils/5100's lift will be complete!
 
Wow! I thought I got a steal at $319. Down South is the way to go, really nice to deal with on top of having the best price.

I have a set of Toytec 1/2" spacers with a few hundred miles on them. The studs are pressed into a lightly used spare set of top hats.
I paid ~$65+ shipping but I'd be willing to sell them for $45 plus shipping.
I switched to daystar 1" spacers because I was stubborn and refused to by 5100's. I may end up buying 5100's in the end anyway.

I am planning to use the daystar 2.5/1.5 along with the fj coils to attempt a 3/2 lift. What is everyone else planning on?

The front 5100's are height adjustable, no need for the 2.5in spacer up front.
 
i hope these prices stay the same for a couple months don't really have the extra cash right now :/

I was thinking I would have more shock travel if I used the daystar. When you crank out the 5100s to the 2.5 in setting do you loose flex length?

That is a crazy price. That's almost exactly what I paid with my wholesale account. They must have pretty good Bilstein pricing to sell them at that cost and turn a profit!

The lower control arm can only move so much. By using a longer stroke shock and compressing it with a spacer you have wasted the purpose of using the longer 5100's.
 
Could I get a 1.5" front lift / 1" rear lift with these and FJ springs or would I still need spacers up front?
 
Thank you for posting this!!!! I just picked up a set of used OME coils and I wanted to run the 5100's but the price was a little steep for right now.
