Axel wrap!

2014 Warthog

Ok so first gen type chassis, put on long travel rear leaf kit. Removed a couple leafs to soften ride (And actually attain some of that long travel)

So now the axle wrap is palpable. Feel it mostly going from 3rd to 4rth and REALLY bad when slowing down from high speed.

So I know that "ladder bars" are like the go-to way of fixing this on high performance cars/trucks, but anyone that HAS fixed this, is that what you did? if so where did you get them?

If not, is it possible to rig up an articulation point directly to the top of the pumpkin, attached to a frame cross member or something?

Looking for ideas.

Thanks :)

A buddy of mine runs that on his truck and it works great.
He unbolts it when offroading.

Why does he unbolt it for off-roading? Seems like it would be even more useful in 4 low as the axle wrap would be even worse.

Does it limit articulation too much? Or increase the chance of grenading your diff too much?

It'll bind up and limit travel.

Limits articulation.
We rock crawl so it's not like there's a lot of jack rabbit starts that cause axle wrap.
Although the dual cases generate quite a bit even at 1 mph.
