Jerry (JLee, you can PM him at that username) will know more about how many confirmed orders. As of now anyone who orders will get 20% off. Great time to buy. Also it is first come first serve for the building of the sliders. He can give you an estimate of the time frame for the build. Also he is constantly building them, so as soon as the last group buy is done being built he will move onto this one.

Yeah it's a pretty big difference. You will be the SR5/Sport guinea pig, so expect a little longer to get them on. He might have to make changes.

I had him give me the 20 degree angle. I have a 1" body lift and 33" tires on my Limited so this will be a tight fit. Hopefully it will be shipping soon.

I was just about to PM you about the angle. Your still good with the 20 degree's I know ARKRWLR has a 2" and he had to cut quite a bit you would have to cut more to mount them.

Buy the way they are done just need to weld the legs on and get them wrapped up to ship.

Full Throttle, I would probably lower the angle a bit if Jerry still can. It's probably going to be around 1" of flare that needs to come off. Just go with a 15* or 12* angle to be safe.

JLee, if you want to try to get away with the 20* angle you're gonna have to shorten the legs so they mount closer to the frame. This of course will shorten how far they stick out and let the door swing pass the kickout. This will most likely allow the bulge of the cladding/flares on the doors to swing pass it. For non-kickout applications or those without flares this wont be a problem at all. The sqaure tube sits in front of the pinch weld, maybe take an inch off the legs and lower the angle of the legs to 12* you'll be set for every 3rd gen applicant, still with maximum coverage.

The extra added protection is worth the PC investment, especially with the 20percent discount. Most of our off road ventures remain rock free for the most part, however we occansionally venture into the rock garden. When the rust starts to show we hit it with alittle spray and keep rolling. LOL

so I think I'm going with the sliders w/ kickouts....one question though as my wife drives the 4R as well.
do these stick out enough she can use them as a step? I need the kick out to aid with getting my bike on the roof rack as well. Sucks being so damn short!

yes, they stick out far enough to use as a step.

sounds good. I'm going to start taking it off-road this winter as I'm almost finished with the mods. Admittedly, it will be more mall crawler as I'll get out possibly 3 times a year but I want to make sure it's protected.

The 3rd gen. 4runner sets I have made have been weld on. I'm don't have my runner with me at this moment when I get back home I will take a look at let you know if we can make them using existing holes
