I live in Phoenix Metro. Thought about these for awhile, only potential issue for me is being really hot in the Summer. (My rig is parked outside) On the other extreme, how about the cold weather people in the dead of Winter?

Just got mine in this week. They get very hot in this AZ heat. I have good tint all the way around, including my windshield, and its still very hot to the touch. Luckily, these are automatics, so I don't really mind it.

Just ordered the stealth black H2 H4 N L4 transfer case shift knob for my 5th gen on the website. The stock knob is very difficult to read on the trail with no contrast. Looking forward to receiving this knob.

Just ordered a set of Ellis Precision FJ knobs for my 2016 TE premium. Emailed Ellis Precision about the fit and was told by Joel:

It will fit as is, and actually suits the 4Runner shifter better than the FJ Cruiser shifter. The FJ Cruiser has an excessively long shift shaft.

He also said he will be getting the 4runner specific ones up on the website soon (for those like me who couldn't find them).

Just can't say enough good about how these feel and look. Once I got them oriented, they are very solid feeling. If you're on the fence at all about these, pick them up. You WILL NOT regret it.
