how many cracking amps needed ???

When I lived in the cold wintry country I always selected a 12 volt battery with the highest cold cranking amps. However, now that I live near the Mexican border, where the temp seldom goes below 48 F (in the winter), I'm wondering what cranking amps I truly need to reliably start my T4R with a V-6 ?
Any thoughts ?

Rough estimate: I believe the 5vz starter motor is a 2000 watt job. So 2000/12volts = about 167 amps needed (minimum).

Here in central tx, i just buy the cheapest wallymart batt this is the largest that fits, they all cost $49. No batts last more than 3-4 yrs in the severe texas heat so I don't bother with expensive batts.
