The 4Runner Vortex has sucked me back in. Long time member, although I have not visited in several years. Previous 4R was a 2006 SR5 that moved on several years ago to make room for a towable POS Tracker for use with the motorhome. Just picked up a Salsa Red 2013 Trail Edition w/KDSS and Nav. Happy with the price I paid, but there is going to be quite a bit of rust mitigation to do on the underside of this former New York truck. One shock leaking and a fairly typical light shimmy at 60mph. Only other problem of note so far is the Nav rebooting.
I had forgotten just how overwhelming the wealth of information provided here can be! I'll be spending far too much time searching through threads on "best suspension to keep ride quality" and "scraping off the rust", LOL.
