Bad exhaust valve or not ??

im trying to wrap my head around this.....if you use a seafoam treatment that loosens up and removes carbon build up from valves that use a bucket/shim for adjustment.....won't you end up with more slack and a noisier valve train?

If the seafoam does anything it might remove the carbon from the face of the valve and where it seats.

There are valve seals that separate the valve from the valve train so the shims, cams etc. won't be impacted.

The upper valve train is not part of the exhaust, intake or combustion area.
